Rena swam competitively for 15 years, and currently participates in CrossFit and competes in the 64kg and 71kg weight classes in Olympic Weightlifting.

She also has experience in dance, including ballet, tap, and hip-hop.

Her experiences with her own sports injuries, including knee and hip pain, ankle sprains, lower back pain, shoulder pain, and concussion have been vital in helping her empathize with her athletes.
